I pulled the trigger on these Church’s Diplomat semi-brogue cap toes for my go-to black dress shoe. It was a tough choice between these and a more minimal, plain toe balmoral. In the end these won out, because I like to be able to wear my ‘dress’ items casually as well, if possible. I have no doubt these will look as killer with a pair of clean denim as they will with a sharp suit.
I’m leaning towards Church’s for my pair of black dress shoes.

New lounging around the house kicks. I love that I can get Brooks Brothers gift cards with rewards points on my Amex.
I still miss these shoes. It’s a shame they ended up not fitting.

Pretty fuckin’ clean, these are. Judging from the quality of my 1000 Mile boots, these will hold up for quite some time. These look like a good option for anyone still needing that brogued, wingtip joint.
